I brought my guitar to campus for many reasons including my love for music. However, a main reason for my choice of this object is because music unites people. Even in unprecedented times like right now, it is still possible to make music from six feet apart. Whether I am sad or overwhelmed, music always has the power to calm me and make me feel at peace. Many of my friends as well as members of my family also play instruments and share the same love for music as I do. With my guitar, I can play songs that remind me of them to make me feel at home. My parents encourage me to play music whenever I can, so I will always have them with me when I have music.
